The Cart House was restored five years ago to the highest standard as an overflow for the main house.
Built of traditional stone with a slate roof, it dates back to the 17th Century and combines old charm with modern comfort. It has a small private lawned garden overlooking the foaling field, an outside seating area and a barbecue. Inside, like many Lake District Cottages, it is beautifully decorated with some stunning paint effects. It has full central heating and a wood burning stove.
Accommodation comprises: entrance/boot room, large living room, kitchen, bathroom and 2 double bedrooms(one with ensuite WC and basin) and 1 twin.
